Recently Karthi’s Siruthai film audio release function held in Chennai. Karthi’s father actor Sivakumar and his brother Surya attended the function. Karthi’s Siruthai film will hit the screens on Pongal 2011. Director Shiva directed this film and Vidyasagar is the music director. White beauty Tammanna is the heroine. Comedian Santhanam acted with Karthi in the film and he is incharge of comedy scenes.
After his earlier success films of Paruthi Veeran and Naan Mahan Alla, Studio Green Gnanavel Raja produced this third film with Karthi. In this film Karthi did dual roles for the first time and this is his first remake film. Siruthai is the remake film of Telugu Blockbuster film Vikramakurudu.
