Special concert ,ARPANAM by Smt. Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi
September 2010 – Grand commemoration celebrations were held in Chennai marking the 80th birth year of the living legend Shri. Lalgudi Jayaraman.
Continuing the commemoration, Smt. LalgudiVijayalakshmi presents “Arpanam”- a Musical tribute to her guru. This twin special concert will be held in Chennai and Bangalore in March 2011
The occasion will mark the release of a CD “NathaNatana” a vocal rendition by LalgudiVijayalakshmi of the evergreen thillanas composed by the Maestro. This CD will be available through “Times Music”
In this initiative, LalgudiVijayalakshmi (Vocal and Violin) collaborates with
Murad Ali (Sarangi), Mr. Anil Srinivasan(Piano).
Accompanying them in the concert will be K Arun Prakash (Mridangam),
SaiShravanam (tabla) and B.S. Purushotham (kanjira)

This fund raiser concert by the “Lalgudi 80 Trust” is towards supporting the “Aishwarya Trust’ initiative – a fund to help corrective heart surgeries for children suffering from Congenital Heart Defects (CHD). Aishwarya trust has in a short span of 2 ½ years helped 288 underprivileged children to get corrective surgery. Contributions to the trust are exempt under Section 80 G. seedan Movie Review
Seedan movie is the tamil version of the 2002 Malayalam hit movie Nandanam and was released yesterday. Seedan movie directed by Subramaniyam Siva who earlier directed Thiruda Thirudi and Yogi.
Dhanush is making a cameo appearance. New comer Krishna is the hero of the film. Nadodigal fame Ananya plays the leading role. Vivek plays comedy role. Suhasini, Meera Krishnan, Chemeen Sheela, Ponvannan and Ilavarasu play other major actors.
Music of the film is Dhina and produced by Amit Mohan. ‘Seedan’ is targeting the family audience with a clean story and narration.

Here we present the latest update on Udayanidhi Stalin’s debut venture Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. We till date has given all the happenings regarding the film and now comes with the news about his character in the film.
His new avatar as a hero is going to be a different experience for Udayanidhi as he is playing the role of a part time ticket collector and a band master in this film. Directed by Rajesh the film is an out and out comedy entertainer. The film will move to floors on March 1st, 2011 on a grand note. Milky beauty Hansika Motwani is playing his love interest while Santhanam will be seen in a full lengthy comedy role.
