Shakti 2011 Telugu film starring Jr. NTR and Ileana D'Cruz, will be dubbed in Tamil. The film is directed by Meher Ramesh and produced by C. Ashwini Dutt under the banner of the Vyjayanthi Movies production company. It is scheduled to release on 1 April 2011 in Telugu and Tamil languages. Mani Sharma is composing its music.

This is the first time a Jr. NTR film is being dubbed in Tamil. The Tamil version owill have the same title: Shakti.

The shooting of Shakti was launched on January 28, 2010. The budget of the film is around rupees 75 crores, making it one of the costliest.
